IP address, AS number and network lookup
Registration, routing and location data for every IPv4 and IPv6 address. Built from the RIPE NCC and the other regional internet registries, refreshed every day.
Everything about an address on one page
Each lookup combines the registry record, live routing data and a location with its source, so you can see where every value comes from.
Registration
The inetnum or inet6num record, holder organisation, status, parent allocations and the abuse contact.
Routing
Origin AS from the longest matching BGP route, announced prefixes, upstreams, downstreams and peers.
Location
City and country with a confidence level and the source it came from: geofeed, registry coordinates or RIPE IPmap.
JSON API
The same data as JSON over HTTPS. Free API keys with higher limits, CORS enabled, no SDK needed.
A location you can check
Most IP databases give a city without saying where it came from. We show the source for every answer and use the most reliable one available for each address.
